Some of the Most Popular MBA Entrance Test and Management Exams:-

1. Common Admission Test (CAT) 

The most common and renowned entrance examination of India, this examination is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). The scores of CAT are used by the 20 IIMs and other management institutes across the country. Around 3-4 lakh students volunteer for this exam every year. CAT Exam fundamentally consists of 4 sections- Verbal, Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.

2. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 

This is the second largest MBA Entrance Test, CMAT is taken around be 1-2 lakh candidates. This exam is conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The first CMAT Exam took place in the year 2012 and now its been a rapidly chosen entrance exam for MBA in the country. It is based on candidate’s aptitude and further tested in 4 sections: Quantitative technique, Logical reasoning, Language comprehension and General knowledge.

3. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)

 Another one of the popular MBA Entrance Test and Management Exams For 2019-2020 is XAT, which is a computer-based aptitude test. This test is regulated by Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur and is roughly taken by around 1 lakh candidates every year. XAT tests the candidates on 4 basis- Quantitative ability, English language & logical reasoning, Decision making and General knowledge & essay writing. The test duration of this exam is 170 minutes.

4. Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) 

SNAP is also a national level management entrance exam, conducted by Symbiosis International University. It is a computer based aptitude test, held for two hours and tests candidate’s General English, Quantitative & Data interpretation, General awareness and logical reasoning power.

5. Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

MAT is also one of the most renowned management tests. More than 500 institutes accept MAT scores for various management programs. This exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). This exam is both online based as well as offline based. The aspirant is tested in the following fields: Indian and Global Environment, Language, Data Analysis, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning.

6. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Exam

 IIFT is one of the most prominent MBA Entrance Test and Management Exams for 2019-2020. This is an institute specific entrance test. This exam is held for the admissions in IIFT only. IIFT test is conducted in November for two hours and involves 200 multiple choice questions. This Institute checks aspirant’s aptitude on the basis of following things- English Comprehension, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Analysis, etc.

7. ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT)

IBSAT is also an institute level entrance test. The ICFAI conducts this test for higher education. IBSAT marks are used for admissions in MBA and Ph.D. programmes in 9 Indian campuses like- Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. It is a computer-based test which checks the candidate’s aptitude on the basis of- Verbal Ability, Reading power, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Adequacy & Interpretation.

8. MICAT 

MICAT is the online entrance exam for MICA’s flagship, offering a 2 year Post- Graduate Diploma in Management and communications. Aspirants first need to apply with CAT, XAT and GMAT exams. This test is conducted for 125 minutes, further divided into two sections- Section 1 assesses the candidates’ analytical skills, logical skills, verbal skills, written communication skills and general knowledge, whereas, Section 2 consists of a Psychometric Test.

9. KIITEE Management Test (KIITEE MBA) 

KIITEE is also a national-level computer-based MBA Entrance Tests to Take in 2018. This exam is conducted by KIIT University in January every year and also used for admissions in KIIT University only. Each candidate is given 150 minutes as per 150 questions. There are four sections of the exam- Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, Basic English, General Knowledge, Issue of Social Concern.

10. AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 

This is also a national level management entrance test which is conducted online as well as offline. ATMA scores are used for admission in by several management programs.
